The 25 Most Precious 2015

The Precious Hearts Romances Grand Fans Day and Launching of Coffee Table Book 2015

Last Feb. 28, Saturday, we head over to the SM North Edsa to witness the Grand Fans Day & Launching of their Coffee Table Book of Precious Hearts Romances (PHR).

Precious Hearts Romances is recognized as the best-selling Tagalog romance pocketbook dubbed as the best love stories of all time. The novels reinforce traditional values of commitment and a happy ending. It is an eternal escape fantasy of falling in love with Mr. Right. At sino bang mga babae ang hindi nakakakilala sa PHR ngayon?

Another first ang maka-attend nang ganitong event (anyway, thanks to my blogger friend Kevin for inviting me)

Okay, to be honest I am not a fan of reading pocketbooks. Yes, I love to read books, but not this one. Some of my friends way back high school encourage me to read some but I don't know, waley talaga. :)

Perhaps, this is the moment to know the magical and mysterious story of pocketbooks na talaga (PHR) and to know also the amazing people behind this.

Ang madlang people at our back! :)

So to start the program, this event highlights the 25 Most Precious Writers of PHR. Sir Jun said that "Nahirapan kaming i-trim down sa 25 yung mga writers, dahil lahat sila magagaling" having said that, I salute all the writers of PHR. Simple lang silang mga babae na gustong ibahagi ang mga kwento sa iba na in a way of writing.
Simple, yet so inspiring! :)

And here are the 25 Most Precious Writers:

5. CAMILLA

The photo I used was based on their coffee table book.

After introducing the 25 Precious Writers, PETA (Philippine Educational Theaters Association) was there to act some of the best kilig stories of the best 25 precious writers!

Every  author has it is own uniqueness, may comedy (Ang Diary ng Chubby), may nakakakilig na story ng (Stallion) at marami pang iba. Even though short lang ang pag-arte nila every story, I was able to enjoy it! Another first, first time ko po na mapanood ang PETA actors/actresses. LIVE. Ang GALING!!!

After the performance, it's about time to ask questions na from the Press people.

And then, ang much awaited highlight of this event is the book signing of their coffee table book. Some of the fans bring their own copies of their favorite pocketbooks.

see that paper bag? Pocketbooks ang laman nyan :)

Fan na fan si ate! :) Ang kyut!!

So now, I know na ganun talaga kasikat ang PHR! Kaya naman after the event eh napabili agad kami ng books ni Kevin sa Precious Pages Bookstore to try some of the books. Even sa store ang haba ng pila.

Here are the books that I bought!

As of now I'm currently reading the "Ang Diary ng Chubby" at sobrang nakakatawa! hahaha. Pampa-good vibes din! Kudos to Vanessa. I need to find out kung bakit ganun ang cover ng book maala-Twilight ang peg. :)

Let us support our very own writers by buying their nakaka-kilig love stories on pocketbooks. Nakakatuwa from other reader nung nasa Precious Pages Bookstore kami na pati ang pangalan ng mg anak nya eh base sa mga characters ng isang kwento. :)

Kayo ano'ng marerecommend nyo na PHR pocketbook sakin?

Comment lang kayo. Guys!!

Thank you. xoxo

My First Artsy Crafty Experience

When I saw on my timeline about the FREE Temporary Tattoo Workshop of Ms. Alessa Lanot of Life After Breakfast WHOA!! I click the link given and register agad-agad! :)

Aside from this is a "free" workshop I also want to meet the very talented person Ms. Alessa Lanot, she's a designer, crafter, watercolor letterer, and owner of Pipino Vegetarian Restaurant. I've known her from another blogger and my idol Anagon. I also invited my blogger friend and one of my "Super Friend" in the office Kevin. At dahil sa Makati ang event since hindi talaga ako ganung ka-gala I invited him to accompany me inshort tour guide. Hehehehe.

And finally narating na namin sya :) Ang ganda ng place napaka-cozy & comfy ng place.

I think this is one of the creation of Ms. Alessa's Chalk art. Galing diba?!

Super cool ng doodle on -the-wall with a word PINO.
On that part nandun din ang Craft Carrot they sell mga pang artsy tools like pens for calligraphy, different colors of ink, watercolors, rubber stamping tools and they also offer craft workshops.

Pa-picture muna :)

Pino's Menu. yuuuummmm!

So before the workshop start, we ordered

me- Moka Cappucino Iced Coffee

while Kevin- Lemongrass-Ginger-Cucumber Cooler

Let's start, Ms. Alessa teaching us on how to make the temporary tattoo. So excited!

She handed us the kit that we will be needing for the workshop. It includes the acetate film, 1/2 size bond paper, special tattoo paper, and color pens.

Okay! Magpapaka-busy muna kami :) Karerin!!

First we have to draw muna on the bond paper, parang scratch muna of your designs.

Pati sila seatmates busy din :) Hello!!!

Then after that, you have to trace it on the acetate film once you finalize your design.
Some of the designs I made eh nag-search muna ako sa Google (thanks Google) hahaha! Bilang medyo clueless ako kung ano kaya magandang design :) in the end ayan very inspired & inlove ang peg ko. :) you have to maximize din the space para hindi sayang.

Next to that, using the printer, scan the acetate film ng naka-opposite para pag  na-print sya yun na yung magiging design mo for your tattoo at para hindi din baliktad pag dinikit sya on your skin.

tadaaaaaaa!! ayan ang chosen one kong ginawa :)

 like a heartbeat :)

So before the workshop ended, I make sure na may picture kami together with my Idol Ms. Alessa using my INSTAX camera. Thank you for the FREE Temporary Tatto Workshop!! Until next time.

the whole class :)

Visit Life After Breakfast blog for more updates of their workshop.

XOXO
